Dr. Teshome Nekatibeb is an educational expert with extensive experience in teacher training, educational policy, academic leadership, and international education development. He earned his PhD in International and Comparative Education from the University of Stockholm and a postdoctoral research certificate from the University of Kassel. At Addis Ababa University, he was Associate Professor and founding Head of the Center for Comparative Education and Policy Studies, establishing the first PhD program in the field and partnering with Swedish universities to train leaders now in top institutions.
Internationally, he has held senior roles in USAID projects in Ethiopia, Jordan, Afghanistan, and Yemen, focusing on monitoring, evaluation, learning assessments, and program management. He has provided short-term advisory services for the World Bank, UNICEF, UNESCO, UNFPA, SIDA, and the African Union. Academically, he has advised PhD students at AAU and UNISA, served as external examiner in Sweden and Norway, and evaluated projects in Tanzania.
Dr. Tewodros Mulugeta is an accomplished academic leader and a specialist in the sciences, whose appointment as Principal signals a strong commitment to scientific excellence at the Science Shared Campus of Kotebe University of Education (KUE). An Assistant Professor of Entomology and Applied Biology, Dr. Mulugeta brings a strong subject-matter foundation to the campus, a crucial asset for an institution dedicated to nurturing Ethiopia’s most scientifically gifted high school students.
His deep roots in the field are complemented by his extensive research work, which includes publications on diverse topics ranging from agricultural science and biological controls to public health and the quality of the Ethiopian education system itself.
Abrham Durresso is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in school administration, teacher development, and student-centered learning.
