Student Admissions

Kotebe University of Education Menelik I Science Shared Campus (KUE SSC, formerly known as Kotebe Metropolitan University SSC, KMU SSC) was founded in 2015 G.C. Today, with a total enrollment of 350+ students, it is the first STEM education center in the city of Addis Ababa. KUE SSC is an independent co-educational high school that serves the metropolitan city of Addis Ababa, accredited by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education.

KUE SSC has a highly selective admissions process. Students in the top 2% of the Primary School Leaving Examinations takers may apply for the entrance examination by submitting their transcripts. Those with high grade-point averages then take the rigorous entrance exam. Students who pass the exam are then finally called for an interview that ultimately decides whether the student can enroll. All admitted students receive a full-tuition merit-based scholarship for the duration of their stay.
